Avantra was launched in India in 2021 as a private label of the country-leading mother brand, Trends, popping up in over seven hundred location all accross the coutry.

The brand aims to redefine the experience of saree & ethnic wear shopping, by providing an innovative shopping experience and being passionately customer centric, unique and authentic. It offers varied fashionable assortments of sarees, saree brands, ethnic wear, accessories along with differentiated service and shopping experience – like blouse-customisation or saree-finishing – all in one location.
The brand development started at the spring of 2021, in collaboration with the Bangalore based advertising agency, Phantom Ideas. As the art director of the project my role was mainly focusing on the overall look and feel of the brand, and developing the visual identy including packaging, instore signages and general visual direction of Avantra’s communication.
